The Dan Ryan - Weightlessness

After recording Guidance, Nathan Dixey returned to his Austin home studio to track new material. "It was an exercise in recording as it was creating new music. I wanted to have the first half of the record to be primarily pre-written songs with verses and choruses. I envisioned the second half to be one extended song with lots of blank spaces to be written and arranged as I went along, hence the title 'Tabula Rasa'." 

Weightlessness, The Dan Ryan's third LP, is a digital release with an accompanying photo zine, shot and arranged by Andy Byers.  All of the images were taken in Chicago's Dan Ryan Woods (the namesake for Dixey's project), where Byers and Dixey constructed an altar of flowers and tree limbs.
